SNL Skit Takes on "Linsanity"



Saturday Night Live addresses the breakthrough of "Linsanity" and the overuse of Lin puns and racially insensitive statements made by some of the media as the Asian-American point guard gained national prominence.

It's opening skit brings to light the issue of stereotypes.

  1. This is a funny interpretation of how stereotypes can become a part of media messages. It also touches on the double standard that occurs when people decide which stereotypes people are allowed to poke fun at and which ones are off limits in our politically correct society.
