BREAKING NEWS: Jeremy Lin Out for Rest of Regular Season With Knee Injury


The New York Knicks say Jeremy Lin is having left knee surgery and will miss six weeks, likely ending his amazing breakthrough season.

The team announced Saturday night that Lin had an MRI exam that revealed a small, chronic meniscus tear.

  1. It will be interesting to see if all the excitement Lin has generated will carry over into next season. It seems that all the hoopla has died down over the past few weeks. Is Lin simply a media fad, or does his story have "legs"? We might get an indication by how much media time he gets during the summer.

  2. Knicks fans may continue to be excited if ge returns with the same level of productivity but i think everyone else have already moved on.... Especially after seeing that he couldnt deliver against the Heat or Kobe

  3. Jeremy Lin's showcase of talent on the court is miniscule - a mere 30-something games. But his marketability has no ceiling. I believe there will be buzz all over the league from teams when he becomes a free agent this coming summer.
